Fancy a culinary experience of the highest order? No problem! At Casa Pascal, it's possible. This immaculately maintained establishment offers a warm and personal welcome for brunch, lunch, or dinner.
The extensive menu offers everything your heart desires. European specialties such as beef tartare prepared tableside, fresh fish, Parma ham, seafood, and tender grilled meats are also available. Of course, Casa Pascal also offers a select selection of traditional Thai specialties, authentically prepared by Thai chefs.
Anyone who thinks this is only for those with deep pockets is seriously mistaken. We at Swiss Helping Point were so pleasantly surprised that we visited Casa Pascal twice in one weekend.
For dinner, we opted for a set menu. From fresh bread with butter and tartar sauce to a small amuse-bouche, a starter of beef tartare on fresh toast, a soup of your choice, a small scoop of pineapple sorbet before the main course to ease the stomach, followed by beef fillet flambéed at the table with two side dishes of your choice, and finally, a freshly prepared dessert surprise with caramelized dumplings, crème brûlée, and a cream with fresh berries and sweet whipped cream. And as if that weren't enough, unlimited white wine was served with the starters and unlimited red wine with the main course. And all this for less than 45 francs per person.
We've never been so pleasantly surprised in our countless visits to local restaurants. The hospitality of the host couple, the ambiance, the quantity and quality of the food, and, above all, the extremely attentive and charming service crew made for an all-around perfect evening.
Casa Pascal offers culinary delights at lunch and dinner that are unparalleled beyond the country's borders, and at more than just fair prices. For us at Swiss Helping Point, the inn has become a fixture in the local culinary scene, and whenever we're in the area, a visit is a must!
