Are you dreaming of getting your Thai girlfriend excited about a vacation in Switzerland and would like her to visit you? Would you like to show your partner the majestic Swiss Alps, the clear lakes, and the expansive landscapes?
A simple walk in the forest, the fresh air in nature, or even the cleanliness of Switzerland are highlights for many foreigners, not just Thais. Whether it's architecture, art history, breathtaking landscapes and viewpoints, or Alpine passes, there's something for everyone!
Do you enjoy shopping and want to treat your guest to a Swiss specialty? Perhaps a beautiful watch, a pocket knife for your relatives, or simply a culinary specialty like chocolate, Basler Läckerli, or Willisauer Ringli?
Maybe you like eating out, then a cheese fondue or a raclette with a table grill would be just the thing, which is also popular with Thai people!
We at Swiss Helping Point will help you make your dream come true. With our many years of experience, we'll get you there as quickly as possible, while you focus entirely on your relationship. We'll take care of the administrative side, so that a vacation in Switzerland doesn't remain just a dream for your girlfriend or boyfriend.
For many years, we have been bringing Thai citizens to Switzerland for holidays on Schengen visitor visas. Our combined packages include all the necessary services.
We've also maintained a local office in Bangkok since the company was founded, providing assistance to you and your guests in their respective native languages. Our staff is fluent in German, Thai, and English, both written and spoken. This means you'll always have a contact person who understands you or your guest. Everything in one place, all from a single source.
Since 2009, holders of a Schengen visa have been able to travel to all Schengen countries. However, adequate insurance coverage is a prerequisite. With a policy from ERV, our exclusive insurance partner, you and your guest are ideally covered.
So, nothing stands in the way of a trip within Europe or the Schengen Area, and you can even take a holiday outside of Switzerland with your girlfriend or boyfriend. How about a long weekend in Paris? Just hop on the TGV for a filled baguette in the City of Love. Or perhaps you'd prefer a visit to a typical Italian market? A delicious panino or, of course, a crispy pizza? Maybe a holiday with our northern neighbor on Lake Constance is more your style? There are no limits to your freedom and your imagination, and it's not uncommon for visitors from Thailand to already have friends or even relatives in the Schengen Area. A family visit in Europe instead of Thailand – now that would be something!
The Schengen Area is a territory in Europe comprising 26 countries that have agreed to abolish border controls on the movement of persons and establish common rules for controlling external borders. Named after the 1985 Schengen Agreement, signed in the Luxembourg town of Schengen, this area enables free and unhindered movement of persons between the participating countries.
At the heart of the Schengen Area is the principle of the Schengen acquis, the common rules and regulations that ensure that countries have similar standards in areas such as border controls, visa policy, police cooperation, and asylum procedures. Travelers can move freely within the Schengen Area without being subject to controls at internal borders.
However, the abolition of internal border controls does not mean that security is being neglected. Rather, increased attention is being paid to securing the external borders to ensure effective control of the movement of persons. The Schengen Information System (SIS) serves as a central database storing information on wanted persons, stolen property, and other relevant data to support cross-border cooperation between law enforcement authorities.
In addition to the EU member states, some non-EU countries such as Norway, Iceland, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein also belong to the Schengen Area. Some EU countries such as Ireland, the United Kingdom, Romania, Bulgaria, and Croatia are EU members but do not participate in the Schengen Agreement.
The Schengen Area has made a significant contribution to promoting freedom of travel within Europe, facilitating trade, and strengthening cooperation between participating countries. However, some challenges, such as migration control and securing external borders, remain a focus to ensure the stability and efficiency of the Schengen system.
Unfortunately, for Thai nationals, this means they cannot travel to Europe visa-free. They require either a tourist or visitor visa. With the help of Swiss Helping Point, you have the best chance of quickly obtaining a Schengen visa for Switzerland for your guest.
Of course, we also offer individual services from our portfolio. Outside of our combination packages, we bill our services based on the time and materials required. However, our packages are our top sellers, as they guarantee that all necessary services will be provided. Most importantly, we take care of the flight reservation required for your application, the perfect timing of all necessary dates and appointments, and, of course, the mandatory travel insurance.
The mandatory accident and health insurance is included in our premium combination packages; the coverage is CHF 50,000 as required for the Schengen Area, so you are on the safe side even if something unforeseen should happen.
We always recommend direct flights for guests leaving Thailand for the first time. This eliminates the risk or errors of transferring, even if flights with a stopover are about CHF 300 cheaper.
Our prices exclude VAT, embassy fees, airline surcharges and taxes, and translation costs.
We are not a government institution and have no affiliation with any authorities. We do not issue visas. Our service is limited exclusively to assisting with obtaining and preparing the necessary documents.
We recommend starting the application 2-3 months before the planned entry date.
The validity period is determined by the embassy. Your guest can enter for a maximum of 90 days within a 180-day period.
Choose a visa agency in Bangkok, ideally in the immediate vicinity of the embassy, as your guest will need to appear there.
